What data do we collect?
Visitor statistics. Google Analytics shows us how many people visit the site and which pages they read. We only see totals, not who you are.
Affiliate links. If you click a link to a shop such as Bol.com or Amazon, that shop can record that you came from Zwembadwijzer.
Orders, newsletter and quote requests. What we use for those, you can read below.
E-book orders
What we record. Your email address, the language of your order, the order number, the amount and the VAT, and the date and time of your order and payment.
What we use it for. To carry out your order, to send your download link, to help you and to do our administration. Partners help us with the payment, sending email and the newsletter.
How long we keep it. We keep amounts and dates for seven years, as the law requires. We keep your email address with them so we can help you later. If you want us to delete it, email us.
Quote requests to pool specialists
What happens. With some companies in our overview of pool specialists you can request a quote through a form. We then email your name, email address, phone number (if you fill it in), postcode, type of work and message to that one company. We only do this if you tick the consent box. The company then decides for itself what it does with your details. You receive a confirmation by email.
What we keep. A copy of your request goes to our own mailbox, so we can help if something goes wrong. We also keep a log without personal data: the time, the company, the type of work and the first four digits of your postcode. With it we show companies how many requests they receive through the site.
Who helps us. To send email we use Microsoft Azure (Communication Services).
How long we keep it. We do not keep the copy in our mailbox longer than needed. If you want us to delete your request, email us.
Companies in the overview
For pool companies we show business details such as name, town, website and phone number. If your company is listed and you want to change the listing, upgrade it or have it removed, email contact@zwembadwijzer.nl .
Newsletter
You can sign up on the site or with the box when you order the e-book. That box is never ticked. We only email you with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every newsletter.
Cookies
Zwembadwijzer itself only remembers your language choice. Google Analytics and the shops behind the affiliate links also set cookies. You can always refuse or delete cookies in your browser.

Under the GDPR you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, rectification and erasure. For questions about these rights, email contact@zwembadwijzer.nl . You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens ).
